Britney Spears is a bit of a priceless act.

So, it's no surprise the superstar costs thousands of pounds to protect.

New court papers have revealed exactly how much money it takes to guard the poplet mum-of-two.

In legal papers filed with a Los Angeles court over the weekend, Brit reportedly coughed up £295,371 on personal security alone between March and December last year.

US website TMZ, who claim to have seen the documents, say the blondie songstress splashed out on the eye-watering protection fees, alongside over £32,000 on "household maintainance" costs for the same period.

She is also said to have given out around £117,000 in child support payments to her ex, and father of her two kids, Kevin Federline.

Mind you, it's not like Brit can't afford this rather pricey list of fees and payouts - since the same documents claim to reveal that the 27-year-old made a whopping income of £7.6million last year alone.
